RTG Announces Electronic Software DeliverySanta Monica, California, October 20, 1998 - RTG has announced that RTG Bills, its low-cost time and billing program for Windows, can now be delivered electronically over the Internet. Lawyers can purchase the software with a credit card from The Virtual Software Store, then download the programs for immediate use. "Visitors to our Web site were able to download our free demo software but, until now, they had to wait for delivery of the full version of RTG Bills by mail," according to Robert Hallem, president of RTG. "Now we can deliver the software quickly and reliably over the Internet." The Virtual Software Store is operated by Wincorp Software, Inc., Raleigh, NC. Their Web site (http://www.virtualsoftware.com) uses the security software built into Web browsers to ensure the safety of all credit card transactions. RTG Bills is designed for small law firms and sole practitioners. It combines the ease-of-use of Windows with the power and reliability of a relational database. RTG Timer, included with RTG Bills, uses a computerized "stopwatch" so that attorneys can time their work as they perform it. Fees and expenses entered into RTG Timer are read by RTG Bills. RTG Timer can communicate with RTG Bills over a network, or it can be used independently on a notebook computer or a home PC. RTG's World Wide Web site is at www.rtgsoftware.com. RTG Bills costs $50, which includes one license for RTG Timer. RTG Bills and RTG Timer are compatible with Windows 98, Windows 95, and Windows 3.1. RTG Bills is compatible with any network which supports Windows PCs. RTG offers free demonstration versions of RTG Bills and RTG Timer on its Web site so that potential buyers can evaluate the programs before they purchase them.
