Q: When I start RTG Bills, I get an error message that says Run-time error '372' followed by Failed to load control XXX from component XXX. (The name of the component may vary, but it will end in .ocx or .dll.)
A: RTG Bills needs certain files in the Windows system folder on the PC where you start RTG Bills. The Windows registry contains entries that tell Windows where to find those files. This error may indicate that the registry entries are corrupted.
To fix this problem, un-install RTG Bills and RTG Timer to remove the corrupted registry entries. Then re-install them. See Re-installing RTG Bills.
Note that you will need to know the Data Location, which is the folder where RTG Bills data files are stored. See Where is RTG Bills installed?
